What changes

When Brian is in the room

Not a motivational hit that fades on the drive home. Six things your people walk out able to do differently.

Fear

Name it out loud, then use it. Fear is attention that hasn't been aimed yet.

The door, not the wall.

Pressure

Slow the moment down. The calm person in the crisis learned a method, not a mood.

Breath before action.

Focus

Decide what matters in the next ten seconds, and let everything else wait its turn.

One thing at a time.

Leadership

People follow the steadiest nervous system in the room. Build yours on purpose.

Steady is contagious.

Resilience

Get up in a way that makes the next fall less likely. Recovery is a skill, not a trait.

Land, learn, go again.

Presence

Be fully here for the people in front of you. It's the rarest thing in any room.

This moment is the job.

The origin story

Before the stage, there was a door.

For most of his adult life Brian's office was the open door of an airplane. He spent decades designing parachutes and teaching people to fly them, won an X-Games title doing it, and wrote the book that a generation of pilots learned from.

Then the fall that should have ended everything. The long way back sent him into contemplative psychology, and turned a question he had been answering with his body into one he could answer for anyone: what do you do with fear when you cannot walk away from it?

The answer became Transcending Fear, then a coaching practice, then the stage. And two sons, who are the reason the work got serious.

That is where the work started. It is not where it stayed.

Brian provided some of the best feedback we've ever received from a keynote. His stories and lessons were an absolute inspiration for us.
